Pricing
Pricing for custom cut wood letters is based on letter size, thickness, wood species, finish, and quantity. Most projects fall in the range of $8–$25 per letter, depending on size and build details.
For reference, a standard order (white oak, raw/unfinished) is the most popular and cost-efficient option and offers the fastest turnaround. A general pricing guide for standard sizes is shown here.

All letters are cut from real hardwood, never MDF or plywood. Each species offers a unique grain pattern and natural tone, allowing for a high-end, authentic look that can’t be replicated with synthetic materials. For more info on the wood species, please click here.
Finish options range from completely raw wood to fully sealed and painted surfaces. Natural oil and stain finishes enhance the grain and character of the wood, while painted finishes provide a clean, uniform look with maximum contrast and durability.
Each piece is precision laser-cut for exact detail and consistency, which creates a naturally darkened edge from the cutting process. This black edge often enhances contrast and depth, but on larger lettering it can be sanded back to expose clean hardwood if desired.
Turnaround & Shipping
- Turnaround time depends on the level of customization.
- For standard orders (white oak, 3/16” or 3/8” thickness, raw finish), sets ship within ~3 days.
- For custom materials, finishes, or specialty builds, typical turnaround is 2–3 weeks, as materials are sourced and prepared specifically for your order.
- All orders include careful packaging and shipping. Letters are secured to a backing board and padded to prevent movement or damage during transit, ensuring they arrive clean, organized, and ready to install.
- Shipping to the lower 48 is included.

Our letters are precision laser-cut for extremely accurate detail, which naturally creates a darkened edge during the cutting process. This effect adds depth and contrast and is often left as part of the final design. On larger pieces, edges can also be lightly sanded for a cleaner raw-wood finish if preferred.
