1. Our Warranty Policy

We take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our work. Every sign is made with care, using premium materials and expert techniques to ensure durability and longevity.

Indoor Signs – Quality Guarantee

We stand behind our indoor signs and guarantee them against craftsmanship and material defects, such as:

  • Letters or design elements detaching due to faulty adhesion.

  • Wood damage (e.g., rot) caused by improper sealing or finishing.

  • Any mistake on our part regarding the design, spelling, sizing, or quality of the sign.

If you experience any craftsmanship-related issues with your indoor sign, please contact us at support@bladeandburnish.com with photos and details, and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue.

Outdoor Signs – Built to Last, but Naturally Aging

Outdoor signs are crafted to withstand the elements, but due to the unpredictable nature of weather and environmental conditions, they will naturally age over time. While we cannot offer a long-term warranty for outdoor signs, we provide guidance on proper care and maintenance to extend their lifespan.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper installation or misuse.

  • Normal wear and tear, fading, or weather-related changes.

  • Environmental factors such as rain, snow, sun exposure, or humidity.

While we can’t guarantee repairs, superior standards and customer satisfaction are at the heart of what we do. If your sign gets damaged due to an accident or misuse, reach out to us—we’ll do our best to help restore it. Customers are responsible for shipping costs, but local repairs may be available at no charge.

2. Right to Refuse Service

Blade & Burnish reserves the right to refuse service or cancel orders for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Unreasonable or abusive customer behavior.

  • Circumstances that make fulfilling the order impractical or unethical.

If an order is canceled, a full refund will be provided.

3. Payment Terms

Payments are processed securely through Squarespace’s platform using the following methods:

  • Major credit cards

  • Apple Pay

  • ACH Direct Debit transfers

  • Checks

Once designs are approved, full payment is required to initiate production.

4. Shipping Policy

Currently, we ship to the United States and Canada. International shipping may be arranged by contacting contact@bladeandburnish.com prior to placing an order.

  • Production and shipping typically take 2–4 weeks, excluding any waitlists or unforeseen delays.

  • Customers will receive tracking information once their sign has shipped.

5. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve all disputes amicably. If you have a concern, please reach out to us at contact@bladeandburnish.com.

In the event a resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes will be subject to mediation before any legal action.

6. Limitation of Liability

Blade & Burnish is not liable for damages exceeding the purchase price of the product. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from:

  • Improper use or installation of the sign.

  • Delays in production or shipping.

7. Updates to the Terms of Service

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to our website.
